As the PBS series Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick? continues to resonate across the country, we’ve been hired to work on another documentary project about health disparities and the social determinants of health. In the course of our work, we’ve met the most fabulous people in California’s East Bay cities Oakland, Richmond and Berkeley and became reconnected with colleagues we haven’t worked with in awhile.
